The way you style your hair can change the way your outfit flows drastically. When you consider what to wear, you usually think of how to wear your hair and what accessories to accommodate. For example, shoes, purses, jewelry, etc. This article is aiming to match from head to toe. The article itself looks at different hairstyles that suit different outfits and how to style them well.
Formal wear
Other than finding the perfect dress, purse, and jewelry, and all that important stuff, your hair can make or break your whole look. Different formal outfits suit different hairstyles. For example, if you’re attending a wedding in a beautiful dress, no matter what hair length, wavy hair down would look very elegant. You could also try a loose, wavy updo with lots of hairsprays to make sure it stays in place. Both are effortless and look great when it comes to attending formal events. If it’s summer and you choose a feminine summer dress, try styling your hair in a top bun. This look is again effortless and pulls the whole summer look together.
Casual wear
This is one of my favorites because you can go so many different routes with casual hairstyles. It’s also one of the most frequent outfits you wear. It’s good enough for getting into nice places but casual enough to be comfy. But which hairstyle fits the outfit? One of my favorites, space buns, will put your look together in a playful way. Space buns are perfect for any hair length and look great for those with shorter hair. I know they’re not for everyone, but it does give off a fun, flirtatious vibe. Another one of my favorite casual hairstyles is a loose braid. This is mostly aimed at those who have long hair. I love to wear my hair in a loose braid and off to the side. You could also try a top not or bun; this will be more appealing than just wearing your hair down.
Accessories
While hairstyles are essential, adding some accessories to your hair will make it even better. Matching your outfits with your outfit is fun; mixing and matching accessories will help pull it all together. You can match the colors of your outfits with cute hair accessories. One of my favorite hair accessories is scrunchies. They are so on demand but so cheap to get your hands on. You can order a million of them on sites like Amazon and even Urban Outfitters. I bought a pack of 50 scrunchies for only ten dollars! As you can see, adding some life to your hair isn’t expensive at all! There are also many other accessories, including bows, clips, and flowers. Add an accessory to your hair and look at your outfit’s pattern or color to decide which route to go. It draws attention by choosing a matching hair clip or scrunchie that brings out your outfit’s feature.
Matching our hairstyles with our outfits gives the impression you want to portray. If your hair is wrong for your outfit, you will know right when you look in the mirror. Your hair can play a massive role in making or breaking the way you want to portray your outfit. Your hair will finish the outfit out perfectly. If your shoes have color, you can finalize the look by bringing that color out even more by choosing a fun headband. Headbands aren’t in as much as they used to be, but choosing a colored hair wrap would be the more stylish way to go.
You can play down your outfit by choosing and concentrating on the attention-seeking hairstyle or reverse it. Wearing a striking dress while accompanied by a simple yet elegant hairstyle could also work. Ultimately, trying new hairstyles is fun and creative. There’s no reason you shouldn’t try and spice up your look. Figuring out what works for you and what suits your personality is the ultimate goal.
Also, never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. You never know; you may like something you’d thought you never would be a fan of. A pricey chosen hairstyle can make the overall look of your outfit. You can also look for inspiration on various sites, including Youtube and Pinterest. I hope this article made you want to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
